Safety is of paramount importance when it comes to electrical installations and we pride ourselves on offering Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) to give you peace of mind that all jobs are completely safe.

An electrical installation consists of the cabling, fuses/consumer unit and circuit breakers that link your appliances, lighting, and heating to the mains supply.

An Electrical Installation Condition Report or EICR, proves the installation has been professionally inspected and tested, by a trained electrician, to ensure any serious issues have been recorded and can be referred to in the future to maintain safety.

Why do I need an EICR?

The cables that conduct electricity can often become damaged, either as a result of wear and tear or simply age. Only when a trained and certificated professional has performed the industry standard test during the installation and afterward at regular intervals can an electrical installation be considered safe and fit to be used.

For domestic installations, there are two types of reports – a visual condition report and an installation condition report, the latter is more thorough and far more likely to detect damaged cabling or connections. Our experienced team of electricians in Cheshire can help identify any ageing or wear in your system and assist with sorting repairs and replacements.

At KDE, we can supply you with the correct EICR for reassurance that your electrical wiring and appliances are safe for you and your family to use.
